The EKA WHEELIFTER is a novel jacking system for large 8 wheel logistic vehicles. When a wheel is to be changed, the bogie suspension is blocked and the WHEELIFTER jacks the adjacent bogie wheel.

The EKA WHEELHANDLER complements the WHEELIFTER and is a simple, low-cost means of safely handling a large wheel and tyre using a standard, unmodified loading crane. The WHEELHANDLER can accommodate tyre sizes from 18 x 22.5 to 21 x 25 and 24 x 21. It has an easily adjustable counterweight to enable the wheel to be precisely aligned with the hub face. The lower tyre support arms run on roller bearings so that the wheel can be rotated to align the stud holes. The only requirement for the crane is that it can be position its jib hook adjacent to the wheel being changed so that it is possible for the crane vehicle to stand in line with the casualty.
