| Winch Recovery |
The hydraulic capstan winch has a line pull of 25 tonnes over the entire rope length so there is no need to draw all the rope out to make a maximum capacity pull. The winch powers the rope out and a one tonne auxiliary winch assists in taking the rope to the casualty. The two hydraulic anchor spades are rated at 50 tonnes to enable two-part pulls to be made. The electronic remote control allows fully variable rope speed control from 0 to 6m/min at full load up to 40m/min for rapid retrieval of a light rope. A 10 tonne line pull hydraulic drum winch is mounted in front of the cab for self-recovery and secondary winching tasks.
