Rotzler hydraulic drum winches range from 1.5 to 40 tonnes line pull capacity and all feature single or multistage planetary reduction gearing built into the drum. This results in a compact winch but with a large diameter drum for good rope life and minimum line pull variation between bottom and top rope layers. The smallest winch in the range, the HZ 010 with a 1.5 tonne line pull, is a high speed unit suitable for light truck recovery or as an auxilary winch. The HZ 051 and HZ 090 winches with line pulls up to 10 tonnes are ideal for self-recovery of trucks and small armoured fighting vehicles, and the larger HZ 180 and HZ 250 units with line pulls between 15 and 25 tonnes are designed for heavy recovery and tank transporter applications. For the heaviest operations such as oilfield work the HZ 300, 350 and 400 winches have line pulls up to 40 tonnes. Varients such as the side-mounted HZ 070 and HZ 100 are available. In addition, alternative hydraulic motors and a full range of control systems and mounting frames are available for all winches.
