EKA Limited designs and supplies heavy recovery and container transfer equipment, primarily for use by military and civil authorities worldwide.
EKA is a major innovator in the field of container handling as exemplified by the development of the SRTE which has been chosen by the Ministry of Defence for unloading flatracks from rail wagons as part of the DROPS project. A fleet of SRTEs is now in service with the British Army.
Rotzler (UK) has supplied drum winches to UK truck makers for incorporation in heavy recovery equipment and tank transporters for use by the British Army and Forces overseas. Treibmatic capstan winches are in service for the British Army Armoured Recovery and Royal Engineers Vehicles, and are seeing increasing use in rapid intervention Fire Service Vehicles.
